The Game

I wrote this song almost forty years ago. It was a time in my life that really formed me and my music career. I left college and decided to go to England to advance my dream of becoming a rock star. I was met with indifference, sabotage and deceit. I knew that my goal was ‘shooting for the stars’ but I couldn’t for the life of me understand why people enjoyed and even wished for my efforts to fail at home and abroad.

It was tough but I learned to keep fighting and, because of this experience, I created a confidence in myself that no matter how hard it got I could take it and keep going.
