Portballintrae
This song is about feeling a past life I experienced when I stood on the shore of this Northern Ireland town. The lyrics weave through an earlier visit, a bit of history about a tragic shipwreck and my most recent stay in the town looking out at the sea having a drink at sunset. This song starts off with bagpipes played by my Uncle. It then soars with Peter’s vocals, Ashley’s rhythm section and the added bonus of Hazel’s account of the Girona sinking.

I just had to write a song that matched the riff I came up with late one night. The tone had be right.

Not In Love
These two songs I created as a musical diptych. (Two Parts) ‘Every Day’ is about love being the best thing that can happen to a couple. ‘Not In Love’ shows that being in love is a constant struggle…one that consumes all persons involved. My goal is to show both sides of Love.
